Yahooooo! We are delighted to announce that Blue Moon has been approved as official supplier of event decor and styling to the Historical Royal Palaces in Northern Ireland.
To celebrate we decorated Hillsborough Castle to showcase its potential as a luxury event space for corporate clients and DMC’s operating all over Ireland. Here’s Hillsborough Castle’s Bugler, Andrew heralding the VIPs’ arrival:
Guests were welcomed with an elegant champagne reception in the Entrance Hall and the Red Room.
The Castle Dining Room table set for a ‘Right Royal Knees up’!
Our Woodland banquet table has a tasselled velvet damask cloth with thick moss blanket overlay and loaded with wild, flamboyant floral arrangements, miniature trees, hordes of candlesticks and molten earth hurricane lanterns. This, the ornate setting for Yellow Door’s platters of delicious local food.
Guests help themselves to the Yellow Door banquet set amongst antique gold candlesticks, ferns and HRP Lorna’s amazing floral centrepiece.
Lorna dressed our gold candelabra with traditional red roses and trailing amaranthus on display in the Royal Dining Room.
Detail of the elegant place setting on beautiful red velvet damask table runner edged with antique gold brocade.
Oh how well the tall crystal candelabra and mismatched posy vases on champagne damask table linen worked in the Dining Room. We weren’t sure that blue would work in this room but actually it was a triumph. HRP’s Lorna worked with us to create this beautiful, delicate table:
Tea and delicious Puds served from glass baubles on our palest pink cherry tree in the Royal Drawing Room.
All these wonderful scenes of the evening were captured for us by Bradley Quinn Photography.
