Blue Moon Event Design designs and produces beautiful weddings, unique events and unforgettable experiences from our contemporary woodland studio, just 35 minutes from Belfast in Northern Ireland.

Over 14 years we have built up a wealth of experience, a vast warehouse bursting with beautiful fabrics, furniture, lighting and accessories and a talented team of creative people. With backgrounds in interior and theatrical design, hospitality, joinery and electrics, the multi-skilled team at Blue Moon have years of experience designing and delivering events of all shapes and sizes.

We like to work with you to create the event you want. By collaborating with our tried and tested, first-rate suppliers and specialists we come together to produce a show stopping event that reflects your style, is representative of you as a couple or your brand and comes in on budget. Everything we do is about you, tailored to you and we are personally committed to you from start to finish.

We understand every bride, groom or host, is different; our creative team listen to your ideas and work with you to define your vision, whether you can see it all in your mind’s eye or are starting from a blank slate. Our aim is to make your celebration as unique as possible, from our initial consultation to final briefing meetings, we want to ensure that we deliver your vision. DESIGN

At the heart of a great event is a creative idea that carries through every step of the guest experience. Whether it be the classic, formal, elegance of a bygone era, rustic, glamorous, softly romantic, flashy or plain cool – we will find your style and recreate it for your special day. We come back to you with ideas, mood boards, sketches and costings, converting initial ideas into feasible plans.

Together we agree the final brief and a budget, then we present you with a comprehensive styling proposal designed uniquely for you. Everything is considered from colour and atmosphere, florals, draping, furniture, lighting, linen, cake, signage, guest book displays and maybe an element of surprise…

We have a fabulous team of creatives and practical craftspeople who measure, draw, saw, drill, screw, sand, paint, stitch, fix, stick and polish! These skilled guys and gals have been with us for over 10 years, loyal and reliable, our dedicated crew will be busy behind the scenes long before your event is due to start and will be the last to leave site. We are determined to deliver at the highest standard whilst ensuring you and your guests have the time of your lives.

We travel the length and breadth of Ireland to deliver our bespoke events carefully, seamlessly, discretely, in good time with no detail left to chance.

Rachael

Rachael

At the heart of everything we do is Rachael’s unfaltering passion, her integrity and a wildly imaginative mind dreaming up new ideas in the middle of the night! Quality is her mantra, it has to be the best, she would rather go without something than have a second rate version. She is also obsessed with fashion, particularly shoes and owns well over 100 pairs, all with leather soles. Adequate storage will always be an issue for our Curator/Magpie/Director Rachael!

Andrea

Andrea

Andrea is the first person you will talk to, she has worked in hotels since she left school and what she doesn’t know about putting on a good event isn’t worth knowing. She has impeccable style, is a really good listener and will keep you on the right track at all times.

PJ

PJ

PJ is our gentle soul, a great joiner and general fixer of all things. He’s brilliant at thinking on his feet if we encounter a technical issue onsite.

Riki

Riki

Riki is from New Zealand, we love him because he is a total perfectionist and won’t leave a job until it’s absolutely perfect. He specialises in all things electric and lighting is his forte.

Alex

Alex is our new girl, she has the sweetest smile, the constitution of an ox, nothing is ever a problem and is getting married herself next year!
