Larchfield Estate, Co.Down
What we did
Judith and her fiance both worked out in the United Arab Emirates and wanted a traditional white wedding while acknowledging the wonderful culture of the Middle East. The barn at Larchfield Estate was a perfect venue to host both styles so Judith chose traditional fairylights and ivory drapes for the main barn with ivory and purple as her colours. We created the illusion of two separate areas in the barn, one for dining, the other for dancing by framing the divide with large ivory drapes gathered at each side with a huge ivory tassel tie. The bar was a perfect area to dress in with saffron yellow drapes, a dozen or more lanterns hung from the roof beams and the floor was laid with Morrocan wool carpets and strewn with brightly woven floor cushions and jewel leather pouffes.
