Larchfield Estate, Co. Down
We just want to say a massive thank you for setting up the lace beam runners in the barn, everything looked stunning!
What we did
Ruth's wedding party was simply heavenly; we adopted a less is more attitude as she loved the rustic charm of the Barn in Larchfield Estate. The roof is very high, so the ivory lace beam runners we installed help to bring the eye down and therefore create a more intimate atmosphere. The irony of using feminine lace in the barn is the wonderful contrast it creates: as a delicate and diaphanous fabric you can see through it to the masculine and industrial scale of the roof timbers beyond. The stone walls were left bare and simple in their natural painted state but the party was romanticised one step further with our creamy ivory chaircovers and candy pink taffeta sashes. I think you'll agree that the photos here by Bradley Quinn capture the bride and groom's joy and devotion to each other.
