The Ulster Museum, Belfast
We were very happy with your work on our event, especially in light of the very short space of time to set-up. You deserve to be successful for all the hard work and cheerful attitude.
I look forward to working with you in future.
What we did
Arts and Business NI is a dedicated organisation principally funded by the Arts Council (ACNI) to promote and encourage connections between business and culture in Northern Ireland. Every year they host an awards ceremony to reward effort and innovation and we had the honour of dressing the event in the newly refurbished Ulster Museum. The museum is always open to the public until 5pm and the awards ceremony was starting at 7.30pm so our set-up time would be very short and inevitably stressful!
We started with creating a curved, shimmering strung crystal wall and up-lit with Arts and Business signature pink as a backdrop for the registration desk, in harmony with the pure and clean lines of the new building. Guests moved on for drinks into the central atrium to gather round neon pink glowing Poseur tables while the ceremony kicked off from the central staircase. The back of the stage was dressed with ice-white iridescent fabric drapes to form a glamorous backdrop and continued round both sides to form wings which masked speakers and unsightly AV equipment. The vast atrium looked astounding and guests were bowled over by the austere beauty and high drama. The next morning, there was no trace of us and it was business as usual for the museum and its treasures!
